Octahedral Package DesignAnd now for something a little different....
This is a package design with toy collectors in mind, most of whom do not take the items they buy out of the package. Using an octahedral design, the package sits on a shelf or in a display case in such a way that the figure inside looks upward. You’ll notice I put one of my old well-used figures from my childhood in the prototype.
A variation on this can be achieved by a stick-on clear plastic eye to hang the package on a peg hook. In this case it would hang straight down. However, the unusual shape is still eye-catching.
On a side note, “zarani aru” is Japanese for “commonplace, met with every day,” a play on Daily, my last name. The package, on the other hand, I believe is anything but that.
